Spring is here (or should be soon)! With the weather turning warmer, we are hoping to get outside more and take our learning outdoors. Snazaroo Brush Pen

I love watching my daughter use her imagination and engage in dramatic play. These Snazaroo™ Brush Pens provide an additional level to pretend play. My daughter loves to pretend to be a dog or cat. She was so excited to check out these face paint pens and have me draw spots on her face to look like our dog. I was really excited that they were easy to use and easy to apply. Since they are fragrance and paraben free, they are great for sensitive skin like ours.

These fun face paint pens come in 12 colors and 5 themed packs (Adventure, Fantasy, Halloween, Jungle and Monochrome). The brush applicator makes it easy to draw detailed designs, and the twisting action of the brush allows you to control the amount of paint in the brush tip. When we were done playing with them, it was really easy to clean off our designs with a little soap and water. Dinosaurs Living in My Hair and Dinosaurs Living in My Hair 2

I am always looking for new books and authors that teach important lessons, so I was thrilled to find these award winning children’s books included in the box! Dinosaurs Living in My Hair and its sequel Dinosaurs Living in My Hair 2 were written by Jayne M. Rose-Vallee and illustrated by Anni Matsick. The first book follows a little girl named Sabrina who is convinced that dinosaurs live in her very curly hair. As she struggles to tame her wild mane, she turns to her mother for help getting the dinosaurs out. In the sequel, we meet Sabrina’s friends who also have curly hair. When they are faced with a bully who tortures them at school, they band together and note that their similarities make them a great team.

These stories are told in fun rhyming text and are accompanied by creative and colorful illustrations. The little dinosaurs depicted in the illustrations were definitely my daughter’s favorite part of the books. These stories hold a great message about being yourself and loving what makes you different. I would suggest these for an older audience who are able to understand that the main character is only imagining to have dinosaurs in her hair. The second book offers a great opportunity to talk to kids about bullying and sticking together with your friends to face adversity. PEZ Jurassic World Collection

When it comes to fun treats on the go, who doesn’t love PEZ dispensers? They have lasted as a popular toy because of their kid appeal. PEZ is releasing 3 new dispensers based on the upcoming movie Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and we had the opportunity to check them out! Without even knowing that they were for candy, my little one started carrying them around and roaring like a dinosaur. I am always looking for delicious and nutritious snacks for us to grab on the go. The Sprout Crispy Chews are delicious toddler snacks that my daughter and I can both be happy with. Zenni Optical Kids Glasses

I have terrible eyesight, and I have needed glasses or contact lenses since the second grade. I don’t remember much about getting glasses when I was younger, but I can’t imagine how stressful it must have been for my parents to worry about me not breaking or losing them. Kids are tough, so they need glasses that can be tough with them.

I’m worried about passing my poor eyesight along to my daughter, but luckily she already loves wearing glasses. She will pick up any reading glasses or sunglasses she finds and proudly wear them around the house. She was so excited to try out these flexible frames from Zenni Optical.
