My Mighty Marvel First Book: Fantastic Four
Illustrated by Jack Kirby
This large board book introduces young readers to the Fantastic Four. The simple text introduces the characters and their superhero alter egos, and the illustrations use a vintage style to make the characters come to life. Every few pages there is a large fold-out page featuring the heroes, or some of the bad guys they face.

Marvel Hello Heroes: Spider-man Swings Through
Written by Sabrina Moyle and illustrated by Eunice Moyle
This brightly colored picture book joins Spider-man as he keeps New York City safe while trying to enjoy his day to day life. The cute story is told mostly through funny speech bubbles, and the comic style illustrations feature some of Spidey’s famous super-friends, and tons of hilarious moments.

All the Hulk Feels
Written and illustrated by Dan Santat
In this funny story, Bruce Banner finds himself getting angry over little things and turning into the Hulk. Hulk doesn’t understand why Bruce is getting mad over little things, and what follows is letters written back and forth between the two characters as they learn how to best use their emotions to work together. The funny story is paired with vibrant illustrations, and kids will love seeing Hulk’s responses to Bruce’s feelings.
After-school Heroes: Ghost-Spider’s Unbreakable Mission
Written by Mackenzie Cadenhead and illustrated by Dave Bardin
This early chapter book shares an adventure of Gwen Stacy/Ghost-Spider, facing homework troubles as well as villainous bad guys. Gwen’s homework involves keeping a chicken egg safe over an entire weekend, but when a flying bad guy comes to town, she has to balance her school responsibilities with her superhero job. The story is accompanied by lots of illustrations, bringing the fun story to life.

Iron Man: Something Strange
Written by Dean Hale and illustrated by Douglas Holgate
This graphic novel sees Iron Man and Doctor Strange teaming up to save New York City from Gargantos and it’s missing children. When the otherworldly being comes to Earth and loses its children, it’s up to the two superheroes to save the day. Kids will love watching the superheroes attempt to keep the peace while cracking jokes at one another.
Marvel Super Stories: Amazing Adventures
Edited by John Jennings
This collection of new Marvel stories is created by a team of all-star cartoonists. Each author’s section starts with an introduction to their chosen character, and then tells a short six page story starring that superhero. The illustration styles are all a little different, but the stories all share common universal threads. The back of the book includes more about each of the author/illustrators featured in the book.
