Personalized Christmas Books to Make the Holidays Special!

When it comes to shopping for Christmas gifts, I am always looking for special gifts that really mean something. Growing up, my parents always bought ornaments for my sister and I to add to our collection, and I continue that tradition now with my daughter. I have also made it a tradition to purchase a new Christmas book for my daughter every year. This year, I was thrilled to be introduced to the beautiful personalized children’s books from Put Me in the Story, and I am so excited that they offer fun Christmas books! I decided to gather a list of some of my favorites (as well as one which would make a great holiday gift for the grandparents!).

Helping Santa Save Christmas

Santa is Coming to My House Personalized Book
Santa is Coming to My House Personalized Book was written by Steve Smallman and illustrated by Robert Dunn. This vividly illustrated book follows Santa as he prepares to deliver toys to your child! When they get stuck in a blizzard, the reindeer must do their best to get Santa to your house. Your child’s name is woven throughout the story, and his or her photo is displayed when Santa finally reaches your home. Kids will love reading about the trip that Santa makes to make their Christmas special!

Can You Help an Elf? Personalized Christmas Book
Can You Help an Elf? Personalized Christmas Book was inspired by How to Catch an Elf by Adam Wallace and Andy Elkerton. In this version, the elf is asking your child for help dodging traps that kids have set for him and for Santa! Kids will love that the elf is using their name and speaking right to them as they help him to save Christmas!

Personalized Spin on a Christmas Classic

‘Twas the Night Before Christmas
‘Twas the Night Before Christmas is a fun spin on Clement C. Moore’s holiday classic. This story introduces readers to Father Mouse as he hears Santa Claus and his eight reindeer when they appear on Christmas Eve. Your child’s name and photo are woven throughout the story, making this a treasured keepsake you will want to reread every year!

Twas the Night Before Christmas on Sesame Street
Twas the Night Before Christmas on Sesame Street was also inspired by Clement C. Moore’s famous poem. When Cookie Monster hears someone outside, he gets up to investigate and finds that Santa and his reindeer have arrived! Your child’s name is used throughout the story and their photo appears as well. Young kids will love that their favorite Sesame Street characters are talking right to them!

Letting Kids Know They Are Loved

Our Little Deer Personalized Book
Our Little Deer Personalized Book was inspired by Sandra Magsamen’s book of the same name. Show kids how much they mean to you this holiday season with this sweet book full of loving messages. The brightly colored illustrations will grab the reader’s attention and parents, grandparents and loved ones will adore the heartfelt messages. You child’s name is used throughout, so they will know that the messages of love are meant for them.
You Are My Merry Personalized Children's Book
You Are My Merry Personalized Children’s Book was written and illustrated by Marianne Richmond. This sweet book is full of loving messages to your child accompanied by beautiful illustrations depicting fun holiday activities you can do together. Your child’s name is used throughout the story and the illustrations. The holiday festivities in the book may even inspire you to start some new traditions of your own!

The Gifts of Being Grand Personalized Book
The Gifts of Being Grand Personalized Book was written and illustrated by Marianne Richmond. This lovely rhyming book pays tribute to the wonderful part of life that is being a grandparent. I love these! Every year my kids get a present the day after Thanksgiving. This present has pjs, Christmas books, Chirstmas movies, or family games. All stuff we can use throughout the Chirstmas season. I think I will include one of these books for each of my kids. Which one would you recommend for an 8 year old boy and which would you recommend for a 4 year old girl?

That is an adorable idea for the day after Thanksgiving! I love that! I think the Can You Help an Elf? book would be great for an 8 year old and Santa’s Coming to Jacob’s House or You are My Merry would be great for a 4 year old!

Oh My Goodness. These are so cute! My son is still a little too young to get the awesome factor of having his name in a book but I am going to keep this so I can refer back to it in the future! Very cool!

These are adorable! My mother made something similar for my daughter last year, a story about her and grandma with their pictures in it. It was so cute!
