The Monster at the End of This Book

Written by Jon Stone and illustrated by Michael Smollin

This hilarious book follows Grover (of Sesame Street fame) as he begs the reader not to turn the pages of the book. He is scared of meeting the monster mentioned in the title, so he tries very hard to stop the reader from finishing the book. My daughter loves turning the pages against Grover’s wishes, especially as the obstacles he builds create more of a mess. This is a really great one to read aloud and get kids into the story.
