Summertime is here! We have been enjoying the warmer weather around here, playing outside as often as possible and planning fun summer activities. As you are making your way through your summer reading list with older kids, don’t forget the littlest ones in your family as well. There are lots of fun summer board books out there to teach babies and toddlers about the joys of summer. I gathered this list of adorable board books to help you introduce them to the hottest season!

Interactive Summer Board Books
Baby Loves Summer (A Karen Katz Lift-the-Flap Book) was written and illustrated by Karen Katz. In another great addition to the Baby series, this one follows Baby as she finds signs and symbols of summer around the house. The bright colors and interactive flaps will keep kids entertained while they recognize signs of summertime.
Llama Llama Sand and Sun was written and illustrated by Anna Dewdney. This touch and feel board book shows the familiar little Llama and his mama as they spend a day at the beach, building sandcastles and playing in the water.
